From November 19-20, 2020, CQC held a certification technics exchange meeting for five provinces and cities in North China in Beijing. Xu Shiyu, Director of the Certification Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Zhao Jinheng, Deputy Director of the Tianjin Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, He Jianzhong, Inspector of the Shanxi Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, Qi Shuang, Deputy Director of CQC, and representatives from the market supervision and management departments of five provinces and cities in North China attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Xu Shiyu analyzed the current certification situation and the latest information combining with the development of CCC certification, and pointed out the current problems in the certification industry. He urged certification bodies and local market supervision and management departments to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, serve local governments, provide technical support, ensure the bottom line of quality and safety, and pursue development of higher quality.

Qi Shuang introduced the development of certification businesses of CQC, as well as the current opportunities and challenges focusing on the development of service certification, green product certification and other emerging businesses. He said that CQC has been committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities; apart from that, based on serving national strategies, serving local governments, and serving enterprises, CQC will continue to improve product quality and boosting China’s high-quality development.

In the future, CQC will continue to provide local government with better technical support, implement the requirements of the SAMR, practice the responsibilities of certification bodies, serve enterprises, deepen innovation, and continuously improve the certification quality of products.
