On November 4, 2020, the 3rd China International Import Expo ("CIIE") was officially opened in Shanghai. As a technical institution, CQC Shanghai sent experts to provide support and service for the smooth running of CIIE.
Before the exhibition, expert team in CQC Shanghai has jointly revised and updated the "Guidelines for Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue" with the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, which was issued by the China International Import Expo Bureau to foreign exhibitors and cooperated with CIIE Bureau to prepare the CCC certification screening of imported products. At the same time, CQC Shanghai also worked with the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and compiled the "Technical Guidelines for the Compulsory Product Certification of the 3rd CIIE", which was formally released during the CIIE to provide government regulators and overseas exhibitors with guidance and support.
On November 3, the technical experts of CQC Shanghai checked the exhibition site as the members of the CIIE Advisory Service Working Group of Shanghai Municipal Administration of Market Regulation to prepare for the official opening of CIIE. Exert team inspected the daily necessities exhibition area and the imported automobile exhibition area of the CIIE, and learned the exhibition information of home appliances, toys, automobiles and other products in the compulsory certification catalog to make full preparation for the subsequent service and supervision. During the exhibition period, CQC Shanghai also assigned technical experts throughout the whole process to collaborate with the regulatory authorities to carry out law enforcement inspections and offer consulting services to exhibitors.
