“Aging Well, Better Future” Summit Forum Was Held in Shanghai

On October 16, 2020, under the guidance of Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau and CCIC, the "Aging Well, Better Future" Summit Forum and the Best Ideas and Practice Achievements Release Conference jointly organized by CQC, China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, Chinese Health Association, Shanghai Service Federation and NIIA was successfully held in Shanghai Pudong. Xu Zengde, president of CCIC, Wu Qiang, Deputy Governor of Shanghai Pudong People's Government, Zheng Huiqiang, President of Shanghai Modern Service Industry Federation, Liu Weilin, President of China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, Zhou Hua, Vice President of Chinese Health Association, Chen Yuebin, Inspector of Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, Mdm. Lu Mei, Vice President of CCIC, Managing Director of CQC and other representatives attended the opening ceremony.

During the event, Zhang Li, deputy director of the Pudong Administration for Market Regulation, and Zhu Puda, director of the Modern Service Evaluation Center of CQC, signed the "Memorandum on Building the Pilot Zone for Quality Improvement of Modern Service in the Free Trade Zone and Jointly Promoting the High-quality Development of Modern Service Industry in Shanghai

Mdm. Lu Mei, Vice President of CCIC and Managing Director of CQC, issued certificates to the first 10 elderly care institutions that passed the "Qualified Service for Aging Well" (QSAW). She stated that as a "National Brand" certification body, CQC will actively cooperate with the central and local governments and work closely with relevant industry associations and research institutes to boost the high-quality development of China's elderly care industry.

CQC also released the QSAW system on the spot. The QSAW evaluation system was developed by the Modern Service Evaluation Center of CQC, with the research of more than a hundred experts from various industries. The evaluation system innovatively takes the hardware facilities as the evaluation cornerstone, user’s experience as the evaluation guide, organization’s performance as the evaluation focus, digital participation as the evaluation method to explore and form a new path for the high-quality development of China's elderly care service.
