On October 14, 2020, CQC was invited to participate in the China Wind Power (CWP) 2020 exhibition. Vice President of CCIC and Managing Director of CQC Mdm. Lu Mei attended the event and issued the certificate for the 10MW offshore wind turbines of Dongfang Electric Wind Power Corporation.

Lu Mei said in her speech that China is actively promoting the high-quality development of renewable energy against the backdrop of profound changes in the global energy supply and consumption industry. As the largest self-developed offshore wind turbine with the largest single-unit capacity in Asia, the certification from CQC is another milestone of the cooperation between the two parties in wind power industry. It marked CQC’s commitment of "Delivery Trust, Serve Development" and practiced the service concepts of "Integrity, Innovation, Dedication and Service".

During the event, deputy director of CQC Mr. Song Xiangdong witnessed the issuance of WE4.55N-168 unit certification to Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., Ltd.

As the "national team" in the certification bodies, CQC is currently the only certification body in the domestic wind power certification that has obtained the accreditation in accordance to ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17020 and the new energy certification system of IEC. CQC will continue to devote itself to the wind power research on technology and standards to help the high-quality, international development of the wind power industry.
