On September 24, 2020, the Third Session of the Fourth CNAS Committee Plenary was held in Beijing. Tian Shihong, deputy director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and Wang Fengqing, honorary director of (CNAS) attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Liu Weijun, Director of the Certification Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and Dong Lequn, Director of the Accreditation and Inspection Supervision and Administration Department, attended the meeting. CNAS Secretary-General Xiao Jianhua made a work report, and CNAS executive committee attended the meeting.

This meeting emphasized that 2020 is the harvest year for building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and the "13th Five-Year" plan. CNAS affirmed that a centralized and unified national accreditation institution and a multi-party participation and joint governance committee work platform are the foundation for accreditation work. It is necessary to strengthen top-level design, accreditation services, and promote international cooperation to provide better technical support for a more open economic system.

Managing director of China Quality Certification Center, deputy director of CNAS executive committee Mdm. Lu Mei attended the meeting, and more than 80representatives from all over the country were present.
