On September 24, 2020, Vice President of CCIC and Managing Director of CQC Mdm. Lu Mei, Secretary of Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center, Ministry of Ecology and Environment Zhou Guomei, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. The signing of the agreement marks CQC’s official access into the International Coalition for Green Development on the Belt and Road, and serves as the Chinese convening agency for the thematic partnership on “environmental laws, regulations and standards”.
Before the signing ceremony, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on cooperation in areas such as green, low-carbon, and sustainable development, climate change, environmental laws, regulations and standards, and green supply chains under the framework of the International Coalition for Green Development on the Belt and Road.
The managers from International Cooperation Department, Product Certification Department VI and Legal Affairs Department witnessed the signing ceremony.
