On September 15, 2020, Managing Director of CQC Mdm. Lu Mei was invited to attend the first session of the Second China Council for Brand Development (CCBD) Joint Conference. The meeting was held in Beijing by CCBD, aiming to actively promote the transformation from Chinese manufacturing to Chinese creation, from the speed of China to the quality of China and from Chinese products to Chinese brands; taking the advantage of the brand influence and boost the high-quality development.
The session was held by Ge Zhirong, deputy director of CCBD, former Counselor of the State Council and former Deputy Director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China. Chen Yuan, vice-chairmen of the CPPCC National Committee and chairman of the CCBD Joint Conference, made an important speech. General Secretary of CCBD Mr. Liu Pingjun, Chairman and Secretary-General of Brand Clusters, and representatives from the Cluster Brand Association attended the meeting. The meeting reported on the work of CCBD Joint Conference and introduced the priority of Chinese brand development in the future.
Since the establishment in 2013, CCBD has established the mechanism of Chinese brand value evaluation and launching, promoted the organization of international brand evaluation standardization and made great contribution to China's independent brand development strategy. In the future, CQC will serve as one of the important institution of technical support for CCBD, centering on the positioning of brand clusters, giving full play to the leading role of the cluster, strengthening quality, driving brand development and introducing Chinese brand to the world to increase the competitiveness in global market and rejuvenate China with the value of brand.
