In order to reduce charging fire accidents of electric bicycles and promote the implementation of the new GB standard for electric bicycles, on August 21, Guangming District Emergency Management Bureau of Shenzhen hosted new mark campain and safe charging publicity activity. CQC Shenzhen branch co-organized this event, and related manufacturers, service providers of electrical bicycles participated in the activity.

Through exhibition boards, physical displays and other ways, the event enabled the audience to experience the mechanism and functions of the electric bicycles under new GB standard, safe batteries and smart charging cabinets in safe use vividly. The Shenzhen branch also introduced the CCC certification of electric bicycles, CQC voluntary certification of charging cabinets and passenger helmets to enterprises and customers.

This event let the public have learned more about the new GB standards, trends and future development of safety technology in electric bicycles, and also promoted in-depth understanding of new policies and measures of electric bicycle use and management, which is of great help to call on the public awareness and the implementation of safety standards.
