On August 21 2020, GAC issued the new accreditation certificate to CQC; based on that, GSO will continually authorize CQC as the assigned certification body in the scope of low voltage electrical equipment and toys.
From June 11 to 12 2020, GAC carried out the renewal accreditation assessment. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the assessment was completed by remote virtual meeting. After the assessment, experts in the assessment team spoke highly of CQC’s work in terms of the management system as well as technical competence, and presented CQC the new GAC accreditation certificate as the certification management system of CQC was conformed to the requirements by GAC.
This renewal assessment has updated and expanded the GC-Mark certification scope of CQC, and will have a profound impact on the future development in GC certification.
