On August 21, 2020, a delegation led by the president of China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics(CAGG)- Liu Weilin visited CQC and had talks with the director of CQC, Lu Mei. Li Guozhen, deputy director of CQC, and Yao Yuan, vice president of the association, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two parties under the witness of the participants.
China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics was established in 1986. It is a national non-profit social organization voluntarily organized by units and related personnel engaged in gerontology and geriatrics research. It mainly performs six functions: research, counseling, training, publicity, professional services, and international exchanges.
At the meeting, Lu Mei introduced CQC's development, social responsibilities and business strengths. Liu Weilin introduced China’s aging situation, the emerging "silver hair" industry, and the lack of standard system in this industry. The two parties have expressed cooperation intentions in various aspects such as elderly supplies, elderly services, and talent training. In the future, CQC Modern Service Evaluation Center will further discuss the specific cooperation for the implementation of the strategic agreement with CAGG.
