Recently, CQC issued the first certificate of GB/T 36972-2018 "Lithium-ion Battery for Electric Bicycle" to Henan Fusen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. since the official implementation of this new national standard.

The new national standard follows part of the technical requirements and test methods from QB/T 2947.3-2008 standard, and puts forward higher technical requirements based on the specific features of the current products. Passing this certification will help companies to further expand the domestic market for lithium-ion battery products.

At present, the quality and safety of electric bicycle batteries, charging equipment and facilities have received extensive attention from government authorities and the public. In order to promote the sound development of the industry, CQC took the lead in drafting a number of technical specifications for battery charging and replacing equipment, and established a sophisticated certification system to promote the quality of electric bicycle-related products.
