On May 18, 2020, the ground-breaking ceremony of CQC South China Laboratory testing building in Zhongshan base was held in Nantou Town of Zhongshan, Guangdong Province. The leaders and guests jointly laid the foundation for the testing building and witnessed another milestone in the development history of CQC and the South China Laboratory.

Affected by the epidemic, Cheng Xiuqin, Deputy Managing Director of CQC/leader of the leading group of testing building infrastructure in Zhongshan base, attended the ceremony to witness the foundation stone laying through video connection, and on behalf of CQC, he extended a sincere welcome and heartfelt thanks to all levels of governments, guests from all walks of life, and participating units that have been concerned about the South China Laboratory.

The completion of the building will further strengthen the technical capacity building of CQC’s laboratories, promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and even in southern China, and facilitate the in-depth integrated development of manufacturing and modern service industries.
