On May 15, 2020, the China International Standards Institute (CISI) of Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE) paid a visit to CQC. Fan Jianbin, the Deputy Secretary General of CSEE and Deputy Director of the International Department in State Grid Corporation of China met with Lu Mei, Vice President of CCIC/Managing Director of CQC.

CISI is the first comprehensive international standardization service organization in China. Recognized by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the Standardization Administration of the P.R.C. (SAC), CISI undertakes the secretariat function of IEC chairman’s work and provides support for the work of IEC chairman. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the relevant standard project research, international standard strategy, business development and other issues carried out by CISI, and reached consensus on further practical cooperation in the field of conformity assessment and agreed to establish a special task team to promote the cooperation.

During the visit, Fan Jianbin, the Deputy Secretary General and his delegation also had a visit tour to the Publicity Exhibition Hall, Customer Service Hall and Data Centre of CQC.
