On May 15, 2020, CQC issued the first certificates of high-temperature resistant rubber sheathed flexible cables and signal-controlled core flexible cables based on CQC new technical specifications.

In recent years, as the complete equipment are getting thinner and more integrated, the demand of new flexible cables with high temperature resistance and power/signal composite functions is increasing. To better promote the product quality improvement and standard supply, CQC organized many laboratories and manufacturers to fully carry out discussions, standard verification and pilot certification for high-temperature resistant rubber sheathed flexible cables and signal-controlled core flexible cables. As a result, it successfully released two technical specifications—CQC1145-2020 and CQC1139-2020. And then it issued the first high temperature resistant rubber sheathed flexible cable CQC1145 certificates to Dongguan Ruiqiao Electric Co., Ltd., Dongguan Changlian Wire and Cable Co., Ltd., Huaqi Cable Co., Ltd. and Cangzhou Xintai Cable Co., Ltd and also issued the first CQC1139 certificate for signal-controlled flexible core cables to Dongguan Ruiqiao Electric Co., Ltd.

As the first domestic standards for related products, the implementation of CQC1139-2020 and CQC1145-2020 and their opening of relevant certification services will further strengthen the construction of independent standards and technical guidance for domestic cable products, regulate the production, quality control and acceptance of related new flexible cable products, and help improve product quality and market development.
