CQC issued the first certificate for flexible mineral insulated cable based on GB/T34926 to Baosheng Science & Technology Innovation Company, a listed company of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd. Flexible mineral insulated cables, also known as sheathed cables of mica tape mineral insulated corrugated copper, can be widely used in situations like power transmission, circuit monitoring, circuit protection, fire protection, and safety alarm with a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and below, which are easily affected by fire itself or its spread. In recent years, due to the lack of relatively uniform standards and certifications in the industry, the quality of products on the market varifies, which has hindered the promotion and application of products and the improvement of quality to a certain extent. After the national standard GB/T34926 Corrugated copper metallic mica tape mineral insulated cables and their terminations with a rated voltage up to and including 0.6/1kV was released and implemented, CQC quickly focused on developing and expanding related certification business with corresponding professional resources, and at the same time, actively organized domestic leading enterprises to participate in product certification pilot work.
