Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) reviews the PSE qualification of CQC every three years as required. In order to prepare for the PSE review in 2021, CQC originally planned to hold a kick-off meeting for PSE review after the Chinese New Year. However, the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 disrupted the original work arrangement and caused a great challenge. However, CQC team hold the kick-off meeting via video conference as an alternative solution regardless of any difficulties.

Focal points of PSE review were determined and the materials and preparations for the review were specified at the meeting. Representatives attending the conference actively raised questions according to their own problems and difficulties at the meeting. CQC International Certification Department answered these questions in detail. After the meeting, CQC established a WeChat group for PSE review which may provide immediate guidance and Q&A discussions on-line instantly. In this way, CQC improves work efficiency and ensures the smooth progress of the PSE review during the outbreak to the utmost extent.

CQC is the only third-party PSE certification body in China authorized by the Japanese government. Since 2007, CQC has always been providing convenient and high-quality localized service for Chinese enterprises that export products to Japan.

This kick-off meeting provided idea and aligned the thought for implementation of certification work as well as made good mobilization for carrying forward the certification work after return to work.
