Amid the outbreak of COVID-19, negative pressure isolation ambulances were badly needed. So, on February 6, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) asked King Long United Automotive Industry (Suzhou) Company to manufacture 30 negative pressure isolation ambulances as soon as possible.
To ensure the quality and satisfy urgent need of the ambulances, CQC Nanjing Branch, entrusted by Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, set up a project team to provide technical support together with Jiangsu Industrial and Information Technology Bureau. The project team provided constructive suggestions concerning the realization of overall functions, control of key manufacturing process and standard production of the negative pressure isolation ambulance. Besides, they assisted provincial industrial authorities in coordinating upstream and downstream manufacturers to ensure the supply of core components like negative pressure devices and automobile lamps, offering strong support for the completion of the production task.
From February 12 to 19, CQC Nanjing Branch, entrusted by Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, set up a project team together with Jiangsu Commission of Health and Administrative Department for Market Regulation and carried out an on-site surveillance audit. The team focused on the overall functions of these ambulances based on the Inspection and Supervision Plan for the Negative Pressure Isolation Ambulance and guided the enterprise to strictly implement the Technical Specifications for Safety of Power-driven Vehicles Operating on Roads (GB 7258-2017) to ensure the quality and quantity of the urgent task.
This is the second time we provide technical support for the manufacturing of ambulances needed in the front line. At this critical stage of combating the disease, we bravely served the battlefront with practical actions regardless of all difficulties, fulfilling our responsibilities as a national team.
