On February 3, 2020, at the critical moment for the prevention and control of novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP), CQC South China Laboratory received a speical certification and testing task. The customer, specializing in research and development and production of all-in-one-smart hospital terminal interactive products, has conducted a special research and then developed a new product aimed at the epidemic prevention and control, which will be placed by the hospital bed to facilitate the communication between patients and nurses station. The adoption of remote network communication can reduce the chance of infection of health care workers. In order to guarantee the product quality, and to provide qualified products to the front-line of the prevention and control as soon as possible, the customer urgently needs to get product test results before February 9.

Fighting the outbreak is also a battle against time. CQC Guangzhou Branch has immediately cooperated with South China Laboratory laboratory to develop a certification and testing program for this product, and at the same time a special task team was set up. With their unremitting efforts and active cooperation with CQC relevant departments, , all testing and correction work of the product has been completed in strict accordance with the standard requirements after 3 days and nights of continuous fights by Guangzhou Branch and the enterprise. The laboratory submitted test results to the enterprise in time, thus helping the enterprise to win precious time for putting the qualified and urgently needed product into the epidemic prevention and control, which has been highly appreciated by the enterprise.
