Recently, China has made shockingly rapid progress in the construction of two makeshift hospitals—Huoshenshan and Leishenshan Hospital in Wuhan, Hubei province. The two hospitals are dedicated to containing and treating patients infected with the novel coronavirus.

Some CCC certified enterprises in the business area of CQC Wuhan Branch, including Hubei Xinheda Electric Technology Company and CHINT Electric Company, have been designated as the two hospitals’ equipment suppliers of low-voltage distribution apparatuses. The staff of these enterprises were called to return for working overtime, but the current issue came down to the short supply of inventory items of main materials, components and parts. They immediately turned to CQC Wuhan Branch and Wuhan Electrical Industry Association to fill the shortage. CQC Wuhan Branch, upon hearing from enterprises, instantly reached out to certain enterprises and the Association for the inventory information of materials, alongside quick actions in properly allocating customer resources and raw materials.

Despite the danger of getting infected by the epidemic, the staff of CQC Wuhan Branch ran from one enterprise to another to ensure the production of the supplies. At the assembly site, they made efforts to guarantee the quality, and even help with the shipping of the produced supplies together with enterprise employees when there was a lack of manpower. Once during a supply deployment process, the factory warehouse was locked and unattended. With the customer’s agreement, they cracked the door to take out the inventory supplies, thus ensuring that the required supplies would be in place as soon as possible and the power distribution products could be delivered to the hospitals as scheduled.

In the fight against the outbreak, CQC Wuhan Branch has made its due efforts in construction of the two hospitals in a timely manner without sacrificing quality, which manifested its sense of responsibility as a state-owned entity.
