On December 24, 2019, the unveiling ceremony of the national energy offshore wind power demonstration base of CQC was held in the Energy Comprehensive Service Building of Zhanhua District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. The base was jointly inaugurated by Vice President of CQC Song Xiangdong and Party Secretary of Zhanhua District Zang Wei. In his speech, Song Xiangdong said that facing the technical innovation and structural adjustment of China's wind power industry as well as the requirements on wind power equipment type testing, CQC has built an offshore wind power demonstration base, together with leading equipment manufacturers in the industry. It has carried out scientific research on standards, testing, and certification of source-network-load-storage step by step, and gradually formed a cluster base integrating green energy production, supply, and marketing. The demonstration base will provide a testing platform for China's major leading equipment manufacturers, help to further promote the progress of wind power testing and certification technology, break international trade barriers, and provide a national-level platform for the realization of "going global" for China's large-scale equipment.
