Recently, the delegation led by Luo Bin, President of Sichuan Academy of Environmental Policy and Planning visited CQC Chengdu Branch and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties concurred that there was a need to exert respective advantages and strengthen cooperation in tackling climate changes and serving local development. Next, the two parties planned to establish the docking mechanism at work, developing pragmatic cooperation in such areas as low-carbon development strategic planning, greenhouse gas inventory compilation, carbon emission permit and energy-use right trading synergy, ecological value accounting and conversion, low-carbon industrialization pattern tracking, low-carbon technologies and products promotion and low-carbon development standardization, providing technical services concerning the green and low-carbon development to local authorities and enterprises and technical support for addressing climate changes in Sichuan.
