On November 13, 2019, China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) was invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Lingang UAV Demonstration Base and Aviation Flight Camp. Shanghai Administration of Sports, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Shanghai General Aviation Association and Shanghai General Aviation Industry Alliance jointly inaugurated the Campsite. Moreover, multiple aviation enterprises signed agreements and displayed the flight on the spot.

Shanghai Lingang Aviation Flight Camp, as the first national aviation flight camp in Shanghai and the only landing point that can simultaneously meet the requirements of land fixed-wing aircraft, seaplanes and helicopters, has provided good test and verification conditions for the artificial intelligence enterprises and navigation enterprises in the region. In the future, it will play a key role in general aviation take-off and landing point networking in the Yangtze River Delta Region.

CQC set up a publicity booth on the spot to promote CQC’s UAV certification business and fully communicated with the enterprise representatives.

At present, CQC has not only carried out the flight endurance certification of civil light and small UAV, but also undertaken the compilation of the series of standards of “Civil Light and Small UAV System Certification”. As the Vice Chairman Unit of China UAV Industry Innovation Alliance and the Testing and Certification Committee (funding) Secretary-general Unit, it will give full play to the advantages of third-party certification body, make use of existing certification and testing resources, and carry out extensive cooperation with relevant departments, social organizations, enterprises and scientific research institutes, assist the government in improving the overall quality management level of the industry, and promote the healthy, standardized and orderly development of the UAV industry.
