On November 7, 2019, the delegation headed by Chairman of Board of Directors of ASK Int’l Group Mr. Ahmed S. Al-Kridis visited CQC Shanghai Branch.

The delegation consisted of representatives from the business and industry sector of Saudi Arabia and they participated in CIIE in Shanghai from November 5 to November 12, 2019, aimed at promoting the economic relations between Saudi Arabia and China, especially in the areas of trade and investment. During their visit to CQC Shanghai Branch, they have learned about the quality control, certification process, and query results of Chinese products entering Saudi Arabia. Simultaneously, they hoped to cooperate with CQC to provide Saudi Arabian buyers with quality assurance confidence and jointly promote the convenience and high quality of the trade between Saudi Arabia and China.

On May 15th, 2019, the China Saudi Import and Export Conformity Assessment Office of CQC Shanghai Free Trade Zone the Belt and Road Technology Exchange International Cooperation Center is inaugurated. It has provided "one-stop" convenience services for domestic enterprises to export to Saudi Arabia, such as standard and technical facilitation and certification services, and continuously injected new momentum into international trade facilitation and high-quality development of regional economy.
