On October 20, 2019 International Symposium on Internet+ Intelligent Detection (Shanghai) was successfully held. Mr. Shihong TIAN, Deputy General Administrator of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR)/Administrator of the Standardization Administration of China, attended the symposium and delivered an opening speech. Ms. Mei LU, Vice President of CCIC/Managing Director of CQC of CQC also attended the symposium and made a keynote speech.

In the dialogue session, Ms. Mei LU gave a keynote speech titled Internet Promotes the High-quality Development of Testing. She explained the relationship between new technologies including Internet, Internet of Things, cloud computing and blockchain and the high-quality development of testing from two aspects — "Internet +" boosting transformation and upgrading of testing management; as well as the innovation of testing technology and mode. Besides, she expounded the future development trend for the deep-level combination of new technology with testing, certification technology and mode, introducing the good practice of CQC in this field.

The meeting is of great significance to promote the integrated reform of inspection and testing, improve technical capacity of inspection and testing, strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, promote the interconnection of quality infrastructure, and the international mutual recognition of inspection, testing and certification results.
