On July 5, 2019, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) released 2019 No. 34 Notice, announcing to transform the production licenses of domestic gas cooking appliances to compulsory product certification administration.

To respond to national policies, guide enterprises to execute orderly transformation and optimize certification flow, CQC Hangzhou Branch held Zhejiang Province Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances Compulsory Certification Rules, Regulations and Standard Seminar. At the seminar, CQC engineers introduced existing gas products-related certification services of CQC, such as energy conservation and environment protection certification and security certification, elaborately interpreted Compulsory Product Certification Implementation Rules: Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances, related implementation procedures and application flow, and answered questions from the enterprises. After the seminar, CQC will continually exert regional advantages to provide quality certification services for provincial gas appliance enterprises, which can thus offer technical support to industry administration mode.
