On September 6, 2019, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) jointly presided over the 6th Sino-India Strategic Economic Dialogue and Sino-China Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection Work Conference in New Delhi. He Lifeng, Vice Chairman of CPPCC and Director of NDRC, and Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman of NITI attended the activity and delivered speeches. Deputy Managing Director of CQC Song Xiangdong led a delegation to attend the conference, delivered a speech and also proposed initiative on behalf of Chinese enterprises.
In 2010, China and India reinforced macroeconomic policy coordination, promoted interaction and exchange, jointly responded to economic problems and challenges, reinforced economic communication and cooperation as well as established a strategic economy dialogue mechanism.
At the conference, Chinese and Indian representatives deepened policy and experience communication about certification and accreditation in the fields of waste incineration power generation, solid waste cyclic utilization, coal-fired power plant smoke-gas treatment governance, water-saving irrigation, water pollution governance and so on, and promoted practical cooperation.
