On July 11, 2019, the working group meeting on automatic driving test of China Smart Traffic Management Industry Alliance was held in Nanjing.

At the meeting, CQC and the Traffic Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security announced that the Advanced Safety Assisted Driving Vehicle Functional Requirements (V1.0) was officially issued to better implement the spirit of "Opinions of the State Council on Strengthening the Construction of Quality Certification System to Promote Comprehensive Quality Management", to strengthen the supervision of automobile product quality, and to provide convenience, effective and scientific certification and testing services for all parties concerned. Deputy Managing Director of CQC Song Xiangdong said that the the Advanced Safety Assisted Driving Vehicle Functional Requirements (V1.0) jointly issued by both sides was an attempt to evaluate the automatic driving test. In order to provide technical support for the follow-up development of the automobile product automatic driving certification test service, the automatic driving working group will continue to actively absorb foreign advanced test technology and test standards.
