From January 9 to 10, 2019, China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) held the New Edition of Safety Glass Implementation Rules and National and Provincial Random Inspection Quality Promotion Meeting at National Center for Quality Supervision and Test of Special Glass.

At the meeting, the Product Certification Department III of CQC introduced the National and Provincial random inspection situation of laminated and tempered glass in recent years, put forward concrete suggestions on how to improve production technology and strengthen compliance bottom line for enterprises, and analyzed the changes in the implementation rules of the new edition.

This meeting raised the quality awareness of enterprises and helped enterprises to clarify the quality baseline for producing the products that meet the requirements of standards. At the same time, it also helped enterprises from the aspects of process improvement, inspection confirmation, and personnel capacity improvement, which provided guarantee for the quality improvement of glass products in the region.
