On December 29, 2018, China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) held a Kick-off Meeting for Demonstration Projects of Cooling Efficiency for Public Institutions and Retail Industry in Beijing.

Wang Shancheng, Vice Director of Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of National Development and Reform Commission stressed the importance and necessity of the project for the work of “Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program” and required CQC to focus on public institutions and retail industries, and to bring about the social benefits from the perspective of improving energy efficiency. At the same time, the results of the project should provide strong support for the making of China green and efficient cooling action plan.

Facing of the increasingly mature status of the air-conditioning industry, CQC will certainly enhance the influence among relevant industry associations and enterprises through this project, enhance the industry status in the field of air conditioning refrigeration energy efficiency, and have forward-looking guiding significance for the future development of the refrigeration industry.
