On October 25, 2018, Vice President of CCIC/Managing Director of CQC Lu Mei inaugurated CQC Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone "the Belt and Road" Technology Exchange International Cooperation Centre (Middle East Branch) in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
The Middle East Branch is located in the Middle East Company of CCIC. Its establishment locally is a substantive progress and key localization initiatives of CQC after its establishment of China (Shanghai) Free Trade pilot area “the Belt and Road" Technology Exchange International Cooperation Centre in Shanghai. The Middle East Branch will give full play to the localization role of the “the Belt and Road" construction of certification and accreditation services, actively promote the overseas certification business and achieve close communication and cooperation with local governments and organizations by establishing overseas platforms.
