On 7th August, 2017, the president of CQC Lu Mei met with Mr. Nabil Molla, Secretary General of GCC Standardization Organization (GSO).
During the meeting, President Lu introduced changes of the organization structure of CCIC and CQC and developments achieved by CQC in quality service improvement, especially in national key development areas, including new energy, intellectual technology and cross-border e-commerce certification, and areas that serve socio-economic development. Mr. Molla introduced the implementation and development priority of GSO “2016-2018” three-year plan, and proposed to cooperate in CQC’s new business.
GSO is a vital regional organization along the “Belt and Road”. Close cooperation in certification between the two parties will further promote the reputation of “made in China”, step up the pace for “made in China” to go out, and contribute to bilateral trade facilitation between China and Gulf area.
