From 19th to 28th July, 2017, a CQC delegation headed by President Lu Mei was invited to pay an official visit to Europe.
During the visit to TüV Rheinland, CQC signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement on certification with TüV Rheinland. Main content of the agreement includes two-way cooperation in overseas factory inspection and field testing, cooperation in photovoltaic certification, training, consulting and global market access as well as technical support for German industry 4.0 and Made in China 2025 Strategy.
The delegation visited UTAC in France, which is the largest inspection body in France that specializes on vehicle testing including vehicle and component safety, function and R&D. During the visit, the two parties discussed cooperation contents and space for cooperation in related sectors, and reached an agreement on developing integrative service for European and Chinese customers in the future.
The delegation was invited to visit VCA in UK, which is a subordinate department of British Department for Transportation (BfT) mainly in charge of inspection and certification of European/British vehicle type approval. The two parties confirmed that after CNCA and BfT signing the MOU, substantive cooperation between organizations will be continued.
The delegation also visited VDE in Germany and related cooperative organizations like Robert W. Baird Limited. During the visit, President Lu also visited CCIC London Company and listened to their work report. President Lu highly appreciated the achievements gained by London company in expanding the market and enlarging cooperation with chambers of commerce in Europe. Meanwhile, President Lu also encouraged CCIC overseas companies to strengthen the business linkage and personnel exchanges and training with domestic platforms like CQC and the testing company.
