On 25th to 26th Jan, 2017 CQC delegation participated in the first GSO notified body cooperation group meeting on low-voltage electrical devices held in Bahrain.
The Gulf Conformity Mark Certification of LVD began its mandatory implementation from 1st Jul, 2016, and the GSO Certificate Tracking System (GCTS) was also on-line and will be mandatory from 1st April 2017.
In order to further clarify the requirement of implementation of technical regulations, and to introduce the operation of GCTS system to all notified bodies, GSO held the GNBCG-LVD Meeting in Manama, Bahrain on 25th and 26th Jan in 2017. In the meeting, GSO granted CQC the new GSO-LVD certificate of notification.
CQC is authorized to issue GC-mark certificate to all 13 categories of low-voltage electrical equipment regulated by GSO. CQC aims to provide better service to guarantee the safety of products made in China to go to GCC countries along “One Belt One Road”
