According to Notice 18 of Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China in 2013, Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and evaluating values of energy conservation for single voltage external AC-DC and AC-AC power supplies (GB 20943-2013)has published on Sep.18th, 2013 and taken effect on Sep. 1st, 2014. China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) also released CQC31-461236-2014 energy conservation certification rules for single voltage external AC-DC and AC-AC power supplies to instead of CQC31-461236-2009. 

I  Requirements of GB 20943-2013 and CQC31-461236-2014 as following.

1. The energy-conservation certificate can be voluntarily chosen implementing by GB 20943-2013 or GB 20943-2007 since the notice released until Sep. 1st, 2014. CQC will no longer issue certificates with old version standard GB 20943-2007  since Sep. 1st, 2014 for single voltage external AC-DC and AC-AC power supplies.  

2. For single voltage external AC-DC and AC-AC power supplies energy-conservation certificate holder should submit changing application since the notice released. For single voltage external AC-DC and AC-AC power supplies should be checked or tested and certificated validity is unchanged.

3. Certificate change should be completed before June 1st, 2015. If the certificates were not transferred on time, they would be suspended, if they failed to be replaced before Sep. 1st,2015, they will be withdrawn.

II  Modified rules as following.

The new version rules for single voltage external AC-DC and AC-AC power supplies energy-conservation certification CQC31-461236-2014 to instead of CQC31-461236-2009, the details as following.

1. Adjust certification standard and GB 20943-2013 to instead of GB 20943-2007.

2. Adjust applied scope. 

3. Confirmed requirements for location of the mark and ways of use.
