On 24th November, 2010, the Fifth China-Russia Economic and Trade Summit Forum was held in Moscow, Russia. Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council attended the opening ceremony of the Forum and delivered a key-note speech. Vice Premier Wang Qishan, State Councilor Liu Yandong, and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov also attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was jointly hosted by Chen Deming, Minister of Chinese Ministry of Commerce and Slepnev, Deputy Minister of Russian Ministry for Economic Development. More than 700 entrepreneurs from China and Russia attended the forum.
On the session after the opening ceremony, 12 representatives from government and enterprises delivered speeches on the theme of pragmatic cooperation between China and Russia in various fields in the post-crisis era, and exchanged opinions on how to push forward the economic cooperation between China and Russia to a new stage through complemented advantages and win-win models while facing all the challenges. Madam Wang Kejiao, representing China Quality Certification Centre, delivered a speech titled as “Cooperation in the field of certification – for better trade facilitation and order between China and Russia”. In her speech, Madam Wang introduced CQC’s services, international cooperation and authorized certification work designated by government. She also elaborated the importance of certification service in international trade as well as the prospect of China-Russia trade facilitation.
