Recently, the trade between China and Russia develop rapidly, especially the mechanical and electrical products has became the main category in China exporting to Russia. The consumer electronic products, household appliances, light appliance and IT products exportation are remarkable increased. China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) is the largest, outstanding certification body with abundant product certification experiences and resources, which provide the excellent platform for China and Russia cooperation in certification area.

 

On Oct. 14—22, 2008, CQC with Russia certification bodies, TEST-ST.PETERSBURG and ROSTEST-MOSCOW, hold two Russia Certification Seminars in Shanghai and Shunde, and invited the household electrical appliance manufacturers, light equipment manufacturers, electrical products and IT products manufacturers and relevant testing labs which coming from the Yangstse Delta and Zhujiang Delta. TEST-ST.PETERSBURG International Business Department manager, Ms Natalia Bakshteeva, and Testing Department director ， Mr.  Alexander Kazakov, and ROSTEST-MOSCOW CEO Mr. Mednikov Alexey and Asia Region delegate Mr. Michail Bogatov respective introduce general requirements for entry Russia market, the standards for household electrical appliances, information technique equipments, electronic entertainment appliances and lighting products, national standards differences, certification and testing issues, then answered the questions about Russia exportation. After seminar, NCB held 2-day technique exchange activities with CB test labs in Electronic and Electrical Products branch of Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research and Guangzhou Vkan Certification & Testing Institute. There were13 CB test labs joining and discussing issues about standards differences between Russia and IEC, mainly certification types for products design, requirements of fire safety certification and hygienic certification, requests of products category, Russia requirements for CB test reports, and certification requests for key parts in CB test report.
