With the improving quality of life, there are increasing demands of environmental protection products of people. In September 10, CQC Chengdu sub centre and the quality supervision and inspection center in Sichuan Province jointly organized the "Sichuan GB5296.6 cum Chinese furniture industry implement quality green products certification work" in Chengdu. More than 150 representatives from 120 large furniture businesses in Sichuan attended the meeting. Vice President Wing Yongqin of Sichuan product quality supervision and inspection center, Sichuan furniture industry associations and the vice Secretary-General Liuzhuhuan and Director Liyingben of CQC Chengdu center attended the meeting and made a speech .WingYongqin, Vice-President in his speech called on the Sichuan furniture enterprises conscientiously implement the October 1 start in the furniture industry GB5296.6-2004 national mandatory standards, environmental awareness, guide green consumption. It is hoped that all Chinese furniture enterprises active environmental quality product certification, and building Sichuan furniture brands, enhance the market competitiveness. Subsequently, the Director Li yingben introduced China Quality Authentication Center (CQC) and CQC logo certification, the requirements and progress of quality green products certification. Director Li yingben said that, the products which access the CQC quality green products certification,  can be added the quality green products certification on,in order to sign that the quality of their products is not only qualified, but also ban less harm, save resources and other environmental advantages compared with the similar products. The representatives of businesses said that in the current phase of highly competitive furniture industry , CQC launching the environmental quality certification is in line with market demand, and it is the only way of the outstanding enterprises to participate the competition and enhance  their market share. The several large enterprises in Sichuan, expressed that they will send applications to the CQC as soon as possible, try to get the certification early. Sichuan TV, and Chengdu Economic TV, Chengdu television, Huaxidushibao, Chengdu Commercial Daily, Sichuan quality newspaper, and several prominent media send personnel to participate and report this meeting.
