Recently, the Zhejiang Jiaxing ZhongXinr feed factory obtained the China feed product certification certificate issued by the China quality certification center(CQC), thus, there are nearly 50 enterprises which have obtained or is applying for CQC China feed product certification certificate, including the Qingdao ZhengDa limited company, the Jiangxi MaoChang industry limited company and so on.
The feeds industry is a big profession, by the rapid development of more than 20 years, already became one of important pillar industries of our national economy. Up to 2004, our industry feed ultimate output achieved about 93 million tons, the output leapt to the second in the world, which was only inferior to US. However, at present the feed quality security question is still the prominent question that affects food security and the people health.
On the other hand, because in some western industry developed countries are more and more strict in request on animal product antibiotic remains, moreover the antibiotic remnant quantity examination of animal source food has became important technical specification and technical barrier in the world meats trade, this question has became the bottleneck which restricts animal product exportation of our country.
For the further implemented request of establishing the "from the farmland to the dinner table" entire process food security system of the State Council, raised the feed quality security level, promoted health development of feed industry and the cultivation industry. According to "People's Republic of China Certification Approval Rule", "Feed and Feed additive administration Act ", the state certification supervisory commission and Ministry of Agriculture jointly issued 2003 "Feed Product Authentication Policing method" on December 31, authorized the China quality certification center (CQC) to do the feed product certification work.
CQC engineer who is responsible for the feed product certification introduced that, the implementation of feed product certification, can strengthen the feed production quality control, safeguard animal product security, and enhance enterprise's market competition strength. At the same time, also can make the general consumers eat safer, higher quality "safe meat", "safe fish". At present, CQC already has developed one station type of feed product certification service that "feed product certification + ISO9001 quality control system certification + HACCP food safety control system certification".
Along with gradually enhancement of living standard, people pay more attention to the security and the quality in animal source food of meat, birds and beasts, egg, milk and so on; the feed product certification also more and more receives the favor of enterprise. It is reported, up to now, there are altogether more than 100 large-scale feeds enterprises which had applied for the certification to the related organization in the country.
