On October 25, the China quality certiffication center (CQC) Director Li Huailin issued the CB laboratory certificate as China NCB President to General Manager Zhong Zheng of UL MeiHua limited company, symbolized the UL America China Suzhou laboratory officially became the CQC CB laboratory.
The UL MeiHua Suzhou laboratory is the first china-foreign joint venture laboratory of the CQC 17 CB laboratories, fully manifested the international market influence of CQC, moreover this not only was the milestone -like event in certification domain, simultaneously had the profound significance to positively impel the Sino-America trade.
Director Li Huailin in the ceremony congratulation speech pointed out, it was of great significance that the UL became CQC CB laboratory, manifested the double wins cooperation strategy of CQC and UL .it would not only promote further development of service in China, also certainly impel further development of domestic CB certification market. At the same time, Director Li Huailin hoped the two sides develop the deep level cooperation on the CB system foundation in a more widespread domain. General Manager UL MeiHua Company Zhong Zheng expressed heartfelt thanks to CQC for its appraisal work and looked forward to the further cooperation in the CB system and other domains with CQC.
The UL Company proposed application to be the CQC CB laboratory in 2004, authorized by the certification supervisory commission, two sides officially signed the agreement, nailed down the NCB-CBTL relations. In April, 2005, CQC organized the domestic expert to carry on the pre- appraisal to the UL Company, helped it to be familiar with CB system request on the equipment, and IEC standard understanding, and prepared for officially examination. In and under joint effort of CQC and the UL Company, the UL MeiHua Suzhou laboratory officially obtained the CB laboratory qualification in August, became first china-foreign joint venture CBTL of CQC.
