Recently the CQC Guangzhou, exit-entry inspection and quarantine bureaus of Guangdong. Zhuhai and Guangxi and Guangdong/Guongxi bureaus of technical and quality supervision jointly held an informal meeting in Guangzhou about the carry-out of compulsory certification for toys and auto parts in the 3 regions. CQC deputy director Mr Liu Changsheng, Guangdong Bureau of Exit Entry Inspection and Quarantine deputy director Ms XuLijun, Zhuhai Bureau of Exit-Entry Inspection and Quarantine deputy director Mr Lu Shen, Guangxi Bureau of Exit-Entry Inspection and Quarantine deputy director Mr Deng Runzhen and Guangdong Bureau of Technical and Quality Supervision chief engineer Mr Luo Shaohua ottended the meeting.

Mr Liu changsheng firstly expressed his thanks for these local inspection organs’ support for the CQC and the CQC Guangzhou, and the briefly introduced the CQC’S recent working plan and measures adopted for the promotion of certification validity. The above-mentioned officials then gave their opinions on how to promote the validity of certification together with lots of suggestions about market regulation, enterprise behavior regulating, and cooperation and information exchange mechanism. They all expressed that they would take more effort in promoting the certification of toys and auto parts in these regions and helping the local enterprises to promote their product quality and market competitive ness.

This is the 3^rd regular certification business working meeting jointly held by the CQC Guangzhou and local government inspecting organs.
