Recently representatives from 21 testing institutes in Hubei, Hunan, Beijing and Shanghai gathered up in Changsha, Hunan province, and attended the information meeting over inter-institute cooperation for certification validity held by the CQC Wuhan. Mr Li Wenlong, Director of the CNCA Department of  Laboratories and Testing Institutes Supervision, and some officials from the CQC’s Technical Department were also present at the meeting.

In his speech, Mr Li Wenlong explained the CNCA’S new regulations for competence establishing of laboratories and testing institutes and arrangement for the administration of testing organs in 2006, he stressed that testing is a key link in the certification chain work, and all testing laboratories should ensure the quality and effectiveness of the testing report, the proper play of laboratory inspectors and the qualify of factory inspection work. Officials from the CQC’S Technical Department spoke about the CQC’S administration plan and measures for relevant laboratories and testing institutes.

At the meeting, the participants also discussed about some problems in their work, and got further clarified about the procedure for the CQC Wuhan’s sample testing work.

The meeting has promoted the exchanges and cooperation between the contracted testing institutes and created a good atmosphere for the cooperation between the testing institutes and the CQC.
