The CQC Headed A Delegation to the IECEE-CTL 43rd Annual Meeting
From April 3rd to 6th, a Chinese delegation formed of representatives from the CQC and CBTLS attended the IECEE commission of Testing Laboratories (CTL)’s 43rd annual meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa. At this meeting, Mr Zhu Yonghua, the CQC-recommended ETF 6th Panel Organizer, an engineer from the State Center for Supervision over Cables and Wires, made a working report at the conference and gained high opinions from the CTL chairman and the conference participants.

It was settled that the conference would submit the suggestion of adding a material clearance sheet to the CB parts report format, as was brought forth in the 42nd meeting by the Chinese delegation, for further discussion at the next IECEE-certification management commission (CMC).
The CTL, made of many expert task force (ETF)s, as a technical organ in the CB scheme, is actually its foundation stone, and it tries to promote technical cooperation and mutual understanding through solving the problems with the running of the CB scheme. Many Chinese participants made speeches at the conference, and exchanged their views with their foreign colleagues. Their active profile brought fruitful result. Better understanding was achieved between them and their foreign colleagues, which laid ground for further cooperation in between.
The annual meeting was sponsored by South Africa Bureau of Standards (the SABS), and over 80 representatives from more than 30 countries and regions were present there.
