Forum on Green Electronic Manufacturing Technology Held in Tianjin
To rationalize resources use and ensure a sustained development, and to reduce pollution and harms in other harm to the environment, a Tianjin Forum on Green Electronic Manufacturing Technology was hosted by the Tianjin Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, the Tianjin Commission of Development and Reform and the Tianjin Administration of Economic and Technological Development Zones, and carried out by the CQC, and the Tianjin Huace Institate of Product Testing in Tianjin Aug.10th, 2006.
CQC deputy director Mr Liu Changsheng made a speech at the forum. He first thanked the Tianjin government for its long-term support for the certification work by the CQC, and hoped that they could further cooperation in green product design, from the CQC analyzed international requirements senior material engineers for green manufacturing and relevant regulations, and had a discussion with the attending enterprises over how to break through the green manufacturing barrier.
Tianjin is an important electronic product manufacturing base and exporter. Altogether 600 representatives from electronic manufacturing and supporting enterprises attended the meeting. It served Tianjin good in promoting its exportation and modern manufacturing competence.
Motorola, Nokia, IBM, the North Telecom，Lucent，Intel visited the CQC on august 9th, standard executives from Motorola(china), Nokia(china), IBM, the North Telecom，Lucent and Intel (china) visited the CQC, and exchanged their view over technical problems about RoHS certification with personnel from the CQC’S technical and material departments and the Committee of environment standardization in the national electronic and electrical system.
In response to the need of these enterprises, the CQC experts gave an detailed explanation about the formulation work of the international IEC/TC111, china’s corresponding standards and CQC’S ROHS certification work.
