Integrate Business Bribery Control into Certification Supervision Work
--the CQC held 2nd Branch Organs Quality Supervisors’ Meeting
From April 19th to 21st, the CQC held its 2nd Branch Centers Quality Supervisors’ Meeting in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, studying the spirit of the National Quality Control System Discipline Inspection work meeting, which focused on the control of business bribery, summarizing the result and experience of the work in 2005, and unanimously passing the working plan and relevant documents for quality supervision work on product certification of 2006, which integrates business bribery control into the supervision work.
Mr Che Yougao, Committee Secretary and Deputy Director of the Central Commission of Discipline Inspection of the CPC, heads of CQC’S supervision, HR and financial departments, and supervisors and officials from CQC branch organs’ supervision departments attended the meeting.
Over the years, the CQC has strengthened the supervision over its branch organs, certification workers and certificate-holding enterprises, formulated the Enforcement Regulations for Quality Supervision, regulating the procedures and requirements for routine supervision, specialized regulation and special regulation work, and positioned quality supervisors at CQC branch organs and liaison men at the CQC head quarters, forming a supervision network to prevent legal risks and promote certification validity. The CQC also carried out specialized regulation actions, perfecting technical documents for certification, and developed a certification worker administration system and a basic personal ability assessment model, stepping up the administration and regulation of certification workers. The CQC has also intensified the supervision over certificate-holding enterprises, which was a big step to purity china’s certification market, and set up the authority of china’s certification institution.
In 2006, the CQC will integrate the “Eight Honors, Eight Shames” spirit into its supervision work, formulating better implemental procedures and documents, further improving the regularity and coherence of the supervision work, and thus promoting the CQC’S authoritive and just image.
