On April 28th, CQC director Mr Li Huailin and his team visited the ENERGY STAR in America. They reached common opinions on promoting the building of an energy-saving society through energy-saving certification work and the Sino-US trade through the cooperation between the two sides.
On April 28th, CQC director Mr Li Huailin met with the NEMA’s new director, CEO Mr Evan R. Gaddis, and they held a discussion on the two side’s cooperation in HR training and standard formulation and implementation work.
On May 3rd, Mr. Li’s team visited the ETL, and had a talk with ETL director Mr Gregg O. Tiemann.
On May 4th, the CQC delegation visited TUV-RNA.
The time was in the May 1st holiday period, Mr Li and his team were in the U.S. to attend the ASQ 60th Anniversary and world Quality Promotion Conference. They made full of the intermission successively visiting the NEMA, the ENERGY STAR, the U.S. Office of Commerce, the ETL and TÜV-RNA.
On April 28th, the CQC delegation visited the NEMA, the ENERGY STAR, and the U.S. Office of Commerce. The delegation had an informal meeting with NEMA’s new Director and CEO Mr. Evan. R. Gaddis, senior Deputy Director, and CTO Mr Frank K. kitxantides, and they had a deep discussion about the two sides’ cooperation in HR training and standard formulation and implementation. In the talk with officials from the ENERGY STAR and US Office of Commerce, they reached common opinions on promoting the building of an energy-saving society through the cooperation between the two sides.
On May 3rd, and 4th, the Chinese delegation respectively visited the ETL and TÜV-RNA, and in the meeting with ETL director Mr Gregg D. Tiemann, TÜV-RNA Great China Area director Mr Mahler, TÜV-RNA director Mr Schimitt about the promotion of label certification and cooperation between laboratories, hey reached common understanding.
The CQC also visited ETL’s Chicago laboratory and TÜV-RNA silica valley laboratory.
