Promote Auto Parts CCC Certification in the European Area
Ever since the CNCA’s announcement of the latest 13 categories of auto parts for certification, the CQC has received inquiries from all over the word. To ensure a smooth carry-out of the CCC certification, the CQC, TUV Rheinland and VDA jointly held an auto part certification technology exchange meeting in Keloon, Germany, a second overseas technology exchange meeting after the January one in Japan, CQC deputy director Mr Li Changsheng and over 60 representatives from more than 40 auto part manufacturers like Hella, Bosch, Johnson and vehicle assembly works like BMW, Volkswagen, PSA, Volvo attended the meeting. The meeting started with Mr Liu’s theme speech about China’s auto parts compulsory certification and the CQC,s certification work; following him was an introduction by TUV Rheinland Vehicle certification manager and boardman Dr Jurgen Brankman about TUV and its cooperation with the CQC; and then engineers from the CQC Products 3rd Deparment gave a detailed exposition about CCC enforcement regulations, applying procedure and product categorization, followed by his answers for more than 110 questions from the company representatives. All participants reflected that this meeting promoted communication between the CQC and European manufacturers, and was a successful meeting.
Mr Liu had a talk with Mr Mark Wummel, who was in charge of vehicle certification and international cooperation sector of KBA, over deeper cooperation possibilities between the CQC and KBA, and a preliminary agreement was reached in this talk. To have a better hearing of voices from enterprises, Mr Liu and his team also visited BMW headquarters, and inquired about them understanding and advices for CQC vehicle certification work; after that he visited BMW RD center, and material, lamp and collision laboratories.
