June 11th, 2006, the CQC joined the National Energy-saving Publicity Week co-sponsored by the State Bureau of Development and Reform, Beijing Municipal Government and others in Beijing sanlihe District. Staffs from Product 1st Department and the Office attended the activity; CQC deputy director Mr Wang Kejiao was the team leader.
On the side, the National Competition of Cartoons on Energy-saving, sponsored by the CQC as an energy-saving technical support provider, attracted popular attention.
Saving energy and protecting environment is a strategic policy for the sustainable development of our economy and society. Since china’s reform and opening-up, great work ahs been done on energy-saving across the country, in response to the central government’s “save while developing energy, and save energy first” policy. Based on careful technical discussions and market analyses, the CQC has carried out certification work in this field, including RoHS certification, motored-vehicle energy-saving certification, home appliances energy-saving certification, and non-electronic products quality environmental-friendliness certification in recent years. Through energy-saving certification and relevant public activities, the CQC hopes to create an energy-saving atmosphere in the society, and promote energy-saving products popularity, in response to plan to build an energy-saving; environmental-friendly society.
