Enhance Communication and Cooperation between CQC and Guilds; Promote Furniture Products Quality and their Environmental Level

On January 17th, 2006, in order to help Chinese furniture enterprises to improve the quality, environmental level and competitive power of their products, China Quality Certificate Center(CQC) signed an agreement on strategic cooperation with China Furniture Decoration Chamber of Commerce(CFDCC), agreeing that CQC has the right to establish a unique quality authentication and popularization office of Chinese furniture industry in CFDCC. The office takes charge for the authentication and popularization of the CQC management system certificate and product certificate in Chinese furniture industry. The agreement signed by CQC and CFDCC indicates that the two units have formally established cooperative partnership, as well as provide a more professional and authoritative platform for the furniture enterprises to develop their environmental protection work.

Nowadays, the environmental issue of furniture products attracts more and more attention. The concerted cooperation between CQC and CFDCC aims at making the furniture enterprises pay more attention to the environment issues of their products and making consumers enjoy much safer and healthier living environment.

Provided by CQC, the CQC symbol certificate increases the limitation index of the deleterious substance on the measuring standard while paying enough attention to the necessity of the consumers’ physical health and comfort.
