Notice of update / change version of the standards used in the CQC mark certification for electrical cooker, disinfecting tanks for table ware, tumbler driers

For all enterprises:

     According to the notice of the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China for of, standard GB 4706.5-95 for CQC mark certified products " electrical cooker " has been repealed, QB 2138.2-96 for " disinfecting tanks for table ware " needs to be update, GB 4706.20-2000n for " tumbler driers " has been changed, and related standards instead have been implemented. Standards update / the version change for the specific are in the table below:

The comparison table between the new and old standards

Our centers now notify the relevant proceeding of the CQC mark certification and the old certificate standards version change work used in the electrical cooker, disinfecting tanks for table ware, and tumbler driers as follows:

1. Implement the certification and inspection work for electrical cooker, disinfecting tanks for table ware, and tumbler driers according to the new standards:

2. As there are differences between the new standard and the old standard, the old certificate holder shall send sample to test, and change the old standard version for the new. 

3. The deadline for the conversion of the old certificate is December 30, 2007.Later, our center will cancel the old certificate in accordance with the relevant provisions.
