To the relevant enterprises and the relevant certification body:

The national standards GB14746-2006, GB14747-2006, GB14749-2006 and GB14748-2006 were issued on February 21, 2006, and will be implemented on January 1, 2007.According to the document [2005]18 by CNCA and the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China, now informed the relevant issue as follows :

1. From the day the new standard come into effect, all the involved compulsory certification products should be certified by the new standard;

2. In the conversion period that after the issuance of new version standard and before the implementation of new standard, certification can be implemented according to the wishes of the applicants, under the old or the new version of the standard ;

3. As for the certified products according to the old standards, they should change for new certificate after implemented in the new standard and before the next follow-up inspection, and change the new certificate. The original certificate will be canceled automatically if the new certificate has not got after the next follow-up inspection.
